Pearl Harbor Survivors

Hawaii is truly a paradise! When visiting with children it can be easy to get wrapped up in the beautiful beaches and hyped up hula dancers and forget to explore the history. I think it's important for children to learn the history of any place that they visit, even if it is horrific.

There is a reason that Pearl Harbor is the number one visitor destination in Hawaii.

Millions of people from all over the world come to this majestic setting to see for themselves where World War II began for the United States on December 7, 1941.

The Memorial is a must-see destination for all individuals coming to Hawaii.

I was able to meet survivors and gained so much respect for veterans. I am not sure if there are any more living survivors, as of February 2020, there were 2 survivors still alive. I am praying for them during this pandemic. I hope they remain strong and when travel is permitted again, I highly recommend that you visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial to commemorate the souls that fought for our Country in 1941.
